@MRJIM97 its really hard keep a steady rythm with that beat ,i though its was too slow but perhaps when my band was playing the song the drummer on the kit was simply too fast.I enjoy it at a faster tempo though

drums in the the part wit the toms sucked. Still good tho, my band was better.

drums were very on beat, but this a funky song, add some 16th note triplets on the high-hat or something.

neverthless you did a pretty good job

just dont be afraid to have some fun with it! I'm drumming for my schools jazz band version, and it's boring to play it as written, and whenever I do play it as written, our composer gets mad at me.

bottom line, good job, just dont be afraid to play a more fun variation of the beat if you conductor says its ok

You would have to give the director your feedback for it to be effective.
