Good luck with your engine. On my Villiers mark 12/2 I reused my head gasket but it needs replacing. It has a thin area which is causing a leak and very low compression. It does run like that but not very well. Cheers.

@MakeDoAndMend1 i hope you don't have to remove the governor arm if you do get one, night mare job which such little space to get at it. I can safely say this engine is not as described.... if you do purchase a WD2 I have some manuals from Nigel that I can email to you. They have helped me a bit

@fuel4sandman the suction cups a horrible, the rubber tool never stays on it needs to be perfectly clean... a true nightmare.
