  • Religion is a pillow, some people lay their head on it when they are sad, some people use it to cushion the blows, some people used it to comfort others while they suffer.....and some people, well way more than there should be, Use it to smother people they don't like.

  • @FattyMcFox That comment is so sharp I might quote it some time if that's OK with you.

  • or intend to deify our mortal lifes as beyond nature, in contradiction: christianity suposes we are in the mid term, neither creatures or gods, beyond the material but not a life force, it suposes that as nature works automaticaly from yaves planed circuits; we are to do the same but consciously.

  • compassionate, humble (towards the universe or the absolute, we are not gods therefore not superior to other human beings; equality) and rather divine purpose, to merge with god- there is no individuality higher than the light-.

Now, take YHWH out of the picture; we inmediately turn to humanism, satanism, buddism, atheism; the common denominator is: there is no NEED to help others, we begin feeling superior and finally nazi health care arrises. We care only of ourselves and behave like beasts

  • I condone supersticious beliefs on every philosophical level, but christianity is one of the only religions IN THE WORLD that teaches humility towards others and good willing behaviours that must be obeyed as to grow spiritualy; the problem is noone ever listens to jesus. For instance my brother is a profesed christian, he constantly helps cancer deseased children; never curses, has no ego since he submited it under the law etc... I think the main purpose of Christianity is to embrace our...

  • 2a. ...access them honestly, integration would seem, and in my experience is, impossible. Till you end the repression. At least with an end result that actually helps one to enjoy life. Of course there is the subjective aspect as to what enjoyment is, and I may be wrong to suggest that life should be free of the unjustified guilt associated with the religion I was brought up under. I guess I still have a hostility toward such injustices religions can impose.

  • 1a. You did a respectful, sensitive, concerned video to someone who seems to lack those qualities. I applaud you, sir. You stand on your own principals. Not always an easy thing to do. At around 3:37 you suggest religion can be a buffer to prevent introspection. My own experience is that it actually goes to sabotage introspection. I find that religion drives one to repression, both emotionally, and intellectually. I think the mortal soul is the product of an integration of these. If you can't...
