"We're All Americans"

I wrote this song during the 2008 Presidential Campaign after Sarah Palin said "it's nice to be among Real Americans" during a rally in North Carolina. I don't believe there are Real Americans and Unreal Americans. In fact, We Are All Americans. We may not share all of our values but there are core values of Democracy that we do all share. The lyrics of the song are intended to remind us of this. The song was recorded during President Obama's Inauguration in Salavdor, Bahia, Brazi. We made a translation of the lyrics to Portuguese because Brazilians share the same democratic values as Americans.
