@theultimatedestroy80 Just look around: classified sites, eBay, garage sales, flea markets, thrift stores -- anywhere you might see old computers for sale or for free. And the word is "PLEASE"... please write the complete word to be polite!

you may already know this but just to make sure, if you phone apple I was told they can ship you the right OS for a price of about $20 or less. just what I was told by an apple employee. also I have a bondi blue imac that had the same issue with the dvd drive. there should be one stuck in it cause when there isn't it is a lot quieter. found mine under a tree, for free.

I had a Graphite coloured one when they first came out. It was a 233 MHz though and only 256MB RAM but it ran fine.

all the games require a cd its still a full install but old games need to run off cds

Mac os X 10.3 would run best. It would also support tiger.. but probably wouldn't be as peppy with 10-3.
