  • never even knew of him untill his passing... wat a talent!

  • andy mckee ftw

  • No fans? You never had the privilege of seeing him play live, then. There was so much more to Michael Hedges than just his amazing music and jaw-dropping playing. I was fortunate enough to see him 3 times (once paired with Leo Kottke), and I may sound like a brain-dead old hippie (guilty as charged!), but each time was a major incident of my life, and I remember each in detail, though I last saw him over 25 years ago.

  • @beccalecca1971 FWIW, Michael didn't invent the harp guitar -- they've been made for a long time. But he sure brought something unique to it.

  • @MrRMETVCP37 3 idiots dont like it

  • have been listening to him for better part of 20 years, never seen him until you tube.. i am so stoked!! does anyone have him and manring doing rickys shuffle?

  • @jazzpsalti - Lenny Breau was one of the early harmonic pluckers; I'm the student of his students; they all knew the same chops. But it's only one of MH's tricks. He did many, many more that I'm still trying to figure out. I saw him 3x live, and each time I was stunned. Two decades later, I'm still stunned, remembering his moments. Of many players I have known, learned from, and taught, Hedges was among the most total masters of the instrument that I have known... and I have known many.

  • OMG!! What have i Found HERE! Amazing!!!!
