  • You are welcome. And thank you and all USAF past, present and future for your service.

  • Thanks for watching. They are quite impressive up close and personal. And still flying since the early 1950s and scheduled to continue in service for many years to come. I hope I last as long.

  • When did they put the fence around the plane? Was in Guam 99-01 and absolutely love every second...Ironically I was at a golf outing with the late Derek Thomas (KC Chiefs)...He and I talked at length about the respect he had for the military. His fathers name is on the Arc Light Memorial. I was in Guam when Derek passed...

  • Well done and thank you!

Proudly, a USAF SAC 380th SAW veteran

  • My Dad served in Arc Light and in Guam. He may not have flown that plane but I'm sure the engines were fixed by him a time or two. Thanks for posting.

  • I just found it on this Memorial Day 2009. The video and the old tail number 0100 brought back a flood of memories for me as I flew quite a few bombing missions in that bird back in 1965-1966-1967.

  • Thanks for posting this video a year ago. I just found it on this Memorial Day 2009. The video and the old tail number 0100 brought back a flood of memories for me as I flew quite a few bombing missions in that bird back in 1965-1966-1967.

  • Your video was showing on my youtube main page and I couldn't resist. I've posted some 8mm footage here on youtube on my page; "usbrasilcafe." I was trying to figure out where near or on the flightline the plane is sitting? I'm in SoCal, and an hour from March AFB and their air museum. They've got a B-52 parked over there. Although big, I always remember it even bigger. I was TDY in '67 for 6 months.

  • I did a TDY at Anderson back in early 01. My squadron stripped, primed and repainted that bird, lots of salt corrosion. I wonder if that's our paint on it now or if it was repainted again.

  • Wow this is a wonderful awesome scale!
