At this very moment, a thousand cats will be run over on the roads..
At this very moment, an alcoholic doctor will curse over the body of a young woman and will say: "she's not going to die in my hands, the b*tch"
At this very moment, five old women in a public park will start to discuss upon whether it is twenty minutes to, or five minutes to...
At this moment, thousands upon thousands of people will think that life is horrible and will start to cry

Just my rough translation of a few lyrics..

À écouter également (sur Youtube tambien) la reprise faite par Marc Moulin (musicien du groupe Telex, jazzman, auteur et homme de radio) en 2008, un an avant sa mort.

You can find it on a album - same title - reissued on cd in 1992 and in 1999 (Saravah, France) or in 1996 (Omagatoki, Japan).
Sleeve : b&w picture of young Brigitte Fontaine with hat and short hair.

This is unique: French chanson with a free jazz background. Mixtures are sometimes pathetic, and sometimes just perfect. Of course in this case it is the latter. Good lucky French people that besides they know what she sings about.

Yes I consider that too few French singers write lyrics as powerful as she: at the same time very poetic, modern and with really bewitching rythms. I don't know if there are translations, it's a shame.
