Photographer Alexx Henry and his team show you how a magazine might look in the not-so-distant future with the October cover and spread for Outside Magazine. In this video, Alexx Henry takes you through the creation of the Living portrait of the triathlete Chris Lieto photographed using the revolutionary Red One cinema camera and the 5d Mark II.

More likely we'll see flexible computers similar in shape and function to the iPad replace physical newspapers and magazines entirely. All content will be downloaded directly to our devices that can be folded or bent for easier storage and seamlessly expanded when we want to use them.

@theremovalist Have to agree. Isnt this basically motion picture with renders and formatted for digital displays like digital posters and ipads/iphones.
Photographers are getting a liitle over excited about this " Hey lets shoot 25 shots and join them together-and make motion"
Just grab a video camera mate ..........

Gee Alexx has been busy shooting for Outside and Viv Magazines. I love the slow motion.
I cant wait for the Red One Scarlet to come out.
Red One camera kits can be hired here in New Zealand for $430 US +tax a day.
