  • This is seriously really cool and clever... would make an interesting plot for a movie or story, maybe even a tv series.

  • Admit I wish I knew which book this was from

  • Admit I wish I knew which book this was from peters one of my cavity scifi writers

  • vampiers werewolfs are all real you just need to wake it up my throy on man kind it that we are made up of all the monsters that you read about but the reason that they arnt arowend any moor is that they where hunted to exstencshen but some humans carey there genes with out even knowing, I papos that all how whant the old whorld back to let sciencetes know, this world had so much moor in it and how knows what eels vampires, harppes, werecats and so much moor.

  • @666iniquity he is just posting a video to show a different explaination for a sci-fi vampire then the oftern used "it's a illness like rabies" it is an optional video tie in to his novel "blindsight". Instead of learing it from the hero's point of view (as in most novels or movies) it explains this from a non-traditional mild manerd "mad scientist" point of view

  • Peter Watts is a science fiction writter and like all good sci-fi authors make up stories that are set in the future but reflec present events and movements. I think this sort of optional video prologue to one of his books that he originally posted on his website is in my opinion doing just that. He shows his present worries about genetic manipulation and phamasutical companies by taking them to a fictional "posible" future extream.

  • Peter Watts does not belive in vampires or think that this research is happening, obviously. Like all good science fiction novels movies or TV they are set in the future to show extreams but are really speaking about the present.

  • this fake scientist seminar is seposed to tie in to Peter Watts's novel Blindsight. It is set in the future and offer's a science fiction explaination for vampires that isn't the traditional "it's a rare illness like rabies" theory.

  • lol

  • It's supposed to be as real as Werewolves.
