  • This was more than a game. This was a work of art- a masterpiece.

  • Imagine if this game had actually been produced by Capcom.

    Oh lordy.

Rockstar, you really save our asses on that one.

Though that's not to say Capcom isn't an incredible, almost infallible developer. It's just that this sort of game fits so damn perfectly into Rockstar's style.

Just hope Red Dead Redemption isn't too serious business because Revolver definitely had a lot of subtle humour and playfulness to it with the crazy bad guys like "Billy the Kid" who was actually a kid.

  • i played red dead redemption and undead nightmare but not red dead revolver. Was it good?

  • @mikejackson4ever EXACTLY MAN

  • WHERE I COULD GET FREE RED DEAD REVOLVER SOUNDTRACKS, WHOEVER TELLS ME HOW AND IF IT WORKS I'LL SUBSCRIBE TO HIM, PRAY HIM THANK HIM (OR HER) :S ;) :) XD

  • @LuigiMan270 The hell is wrong with you? Elements like this made the game memorable and hilarious at the same time why on earth would you want to remake the game WITHOUT them? Honestly if you didn't account for Pig Josh's ability to blow himself up and survive it and passed it off as being "realistic" you sir are sorely mistaken. Don't ruin the nostalgia for me or anyone else and shoo.

  • FUK OFF CALL OF DUTY FANS. ONLY REVOLVER FANS ALLOWED!

  • @mratomic7 I agree. Though, Capcom had wanted it to be a Western Zombie game, and that would've been fucking awesome, but Red Dead Revolver is my favorite game, and that's coming from a guy who's played nearly every game from consoles and PC's in the years 1985-1998.

  • I think Redemption was an interesting successor to revolver.

Revolver was obviously a homage to really old Spaghetti Westerns (intro with all the characters, Morricone-style music at all times, corny voice acting).

Redemption is like one of the newer, more serious westerns we've been seeing, like the True Grit remake and 3:10 to Yuma: dark, somewhat depressing, and very, very serious, with as little non-deadpan humor as possible.

It's like a commentary on both film styles in general almost.

  • @LuigiMan270 i was thinking that..remake Revolver with the same engine as Redemption, AND give it a freeroam, player 1 is red but in nextgen graphics, its a winner

  • they should remake revolver and make it more realistic like Red Dead Redemption, i meen yes this game was just as awsome but the strang voices and the unreal badguys kind of ruined some parts of the game like proffesor perry or what ever his name, no man can teleport, and the midget clones to

  • @CLONEaxel true but you can't beat Revolvers soundtrack
