Jim Steinman performing "Rock and Roll Dreams Come Through" live on the German TV network 3sat. This song is from the album Bad for Good, written and produced by Jim Steinman.
Jim is actually lip-synching. Although he sang most of the album, the vocals for this song were actually performed by Rory Dodd.

Better than Meat Loaf

One of my all time favorite songs! Jim showed Meatloaf with this album that he too could sing.

this is pretty great but it sounds like Jim's lip synching. Who's the guy...Rory Dodd? Whoever it is, the guy sounded a lot like Steinman and was used in place of him quite a bit on Bad for Good. And I believe that it was this replacement that sung the album version of this song as well. Jim's voice didn't have those pleasing slides (ie. "shut out the light") that Dodd(?)'s did. I could be wrong and if so then bravo,Jim Steinman, great performance.
