  • I just go one off ebay, bridge and panel set 8, its like new, some kid in the 1960's just slid it under his bed and i have it now. We would make bridges over the electric trains. The early sets from the 1950's ,the small tabs on the red girders always broke off. The 60's sets had a better plastic. 47 years ago was the last time i held those red girders. to have them again is great!

  • Make a video or send a pic

  • I had that sucker! Little red girders, and silver blue window panels.

    Mine had a motorized crane!

    Lincoln logs were better.

Even in miniature, there ain't much happening with an office, and doing the Godzilla bit led to broken prongs on the girders.

  • ME TOOOO I have the film commercial coming sooonnn

  • Easily the best toy when I was a kid. Endless hours of building whatever came to mind using my imagination.

  • Wish I still had mine. It was great being an architect in my own little world.

  • I had a really custom set!! Red girders and all different kinds of panels --some windows and some with doors. Really nice set. Older bro got one too but not as nice.

We were fairly poor when i was a kid but Mom, er.....I mean Santa always came through at Christmas. Got this set in 1963. Also a big Tonka camper truck..

    Thx! MOM

  • My brother Paul had one of these "Kenner" girder and panel building kits..he enjoyed working with this kit.

  • I'm glad I did that, as they've been preserved for 32 years. I brought them out today, and my sons 4 & 7 tried to build with them. The 4yr old just had no concept of what to do, and the 7yr old had difficulty snaping the pieces together. I'll try again when they're 10 like I was, should be a sucess then.

  • My youunger brother and I made alot of building and bridges over the years. This christmas (2009) my mom brought them down from a storage closet in the attic. They've been up there for at least 30 years. I had everything organized in little bags, clearly marked with their contents, take about anal retentive.

  • I had this in 1977 from Kenner (General Mills). It had Blue girders, Blue/Grey Panels, Red foundation pieces. I wanted it so bad (age 10) that I got 2 sets #72090 & 72030 from my parents and grand-parents.

  • had this toy in the 70s when i was a kid! one of those i wanted a lot, then found out it wasn't as fun as i thought(think i was too young to enjoy it). very hard to find references of this on net. thanx4postin!
