Nos. 6, 8 and 9.
Carmina Burana, made famous today by the music of Carl Orff, is a collection of poems and songs in medieval and Latin and Middle High German, found in the Benedictine abbey of Benediktbeuren in Beunen, Upper Bavaria. The manuscript dates from about 1230, with additions from later in the century. They are songs of spring, love, drinking and gambling and even songs with spiritual content. Here are songs of spring: Clauso Cronos, of faith: Katerine Collaudemus and Love: Axe Phebus aureo.

  • This sounds like classical Indian music played in the courts. Imagine this with the sitar and that high pitched voice singing in hindi.
