Weeped and wailed like a baby. I was pathetic. Thanks though. Terrific work.

I'm almost done reading this book and the hardest part is coming to the end of the book. But this book has taught me so many life lessons. I love what Enzo says about LISTENING! How he breaks it down about humans not listening. What a great book Garth. Thank you!

I am not a dog lover, nor a racing fan, but this book... this book was AMAZING!! I can honestly say it changed my way of thinking... BIG time. Looooved it.

This is a wonderful story, but as far as the writing goes--well, it's not exactlyat the New York Times best seller list level. It's predictable and has a very pedestrian formula for providing the 'obstacle' in the way of the hero's success. Never-the-less, how could anyone not love a story about a thinking and understanding dog? If there is such a thing as reincarnation (truly doubtful) then I know why I love dogs so much--I must have been one in a previous life!

i just wished he did more with each other at the end with dennny.

Loved the book, front to back. Inspirational and heartwarming.Go Enzo Go! PS: It was Paul who came up with the ethereal "and in the end...the love you take...is equal to the love, you make.
One word: amazing. But it is an insult to say that pretty much sums the book up, because it doesn't - I don't think there is a single word that can explain how wonderful a read this is. Enzo is a fantastic narrator; I do often find myself looking at my dog thinking, 'I wonder...' or saying, "Maya - are you my Enzo?"
This book does something most books haven't done in a long time - it makes me curious. It makes me pose questions: 'Was I once a dog?' - 'What IS that mutt thinking?' Great read.
