Popolocrois Monogatari (PSone version) gameplay 1

This is a gameplay footage of Popolocrois Monogatari 1 on Playstation. (Please note that I will not upload the whole game here)

This game was released back in 1996 in Japan only. While it did not have 3D graphics, the attention to detail for the animation of the sprites and their expressive reactions was amazing.

Popolocrois Monogatari on PSone will always be the definitive Popolocrois game IMO (yes, I like it better than Popolocrois Monogatari 2).
Not to say the PSP version was bad, but the original story has been brutally abridged in that remake.
This PSone version here starts, not with king Paulo telling Pietro about his mother's condition, no. In fact, he's very reticent to tell him about it.
The original story starts with the devil Gamigami attacking the castle of the Popolocrois kingdom on Pietro's birthday.

This series was good upto 2, but once they went 3d on the ps2 the load times were unbelievable in a BAD way it literally took like 30 seconds to load battles and maps.

o great, i just finished popolocrois for ma psp, and know i find out there be a sequel. and that the sequel is only japan port, FUCK, now i have to spend bunches of money on an japan ps2, japanese electrical out adapters, and the import version of teh game
