This is was shown on the Discovery Channel and is a CGI Video of how and what may happen if an Asteroid hit The Earth. Would it wipe us all out like what happened to the Dinosaurs?. Predictions of an Asteroid in 2012 have been know but will it happen?. Some say it will but not until maybe also in the year 2036. Whatever the prospect it is a frightening one and when i first saw this video it upset me!. The Music here is by Sky and is very dramatic and works perfectly for this video. Enjoy!

  • The technology we have today compared to Dinosaurs have detected these asteroids for years and the means that we have to destroy them or at least knock it off course, even if an asteroid was to hit the earth the chances of it being one of this size to cause it without warning is not possible

  • say goodbye in 2012 to earth :O

  • scarie movie

  • And the day after the Asteroid strike...

DFS will have a 'fire damaged' sale of sofas!

I think you misunderstand the term "uninhabitable". If creatures could survive, then it cannot be "uninhabitable". Commercial channels like Discovery & History sensationalize science to the detriment of their viewers. PBS Nova would never make such absurd claims.

My point is that the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs could not have been this destructive. This is over-the-top, sensational commercial psedo-science.

  • @sonicchao112244 History always repeats its self. What makes us the lucky speices?

  • @rubberbaby00 it actually took 100 years for the dust to settle. Earth was too cold for life. The sun could not reach Earth. Therefore making it inhabitable. Only creatures that hid far enough under ground survided like some bugs and rodents, some birds survived by going under the water. I saw that on Discovery Channel too..

  • @CreoleQu33n Wishful thinking at best... If there were a God it would probably have been sent by Him for some forbidden rock we turned over or something.
