  • Lesson elarned gov run schools dont work invest in private or home education the gov was not ment to teach our kids and besides it does not work!

  • you know it has nothing to do with if there black or white. but you know its 50/50. part of its the teachers and the other half is the kids. there not helping themselves. trying to be thugs. sagging there pants down to there ankles. so if the STUDENTS AND TECHERS come together i think they can rebuild new orleans schools.

  • hay hay hay. ;D m

  • I guess it's more important to see that New Orleans becomes a chocolate city than it is improving the New Orleans public schools.

  • you are so correct! It's horrible just what has gone on for so many years. It's stealing from babies. I keep telling myself, the good lord don't sleep, they'll have to answer for what they have done one day.

  • I lived in New Orleans and worked for the Orleans Parish School System for 11 years pre-Katrina. What brought the system down was favoritism, nepatism, politicians, and people who looked at the system as a cash cow. People were constantly raising their voices about what was going on but it feel on deaf ears. Money was talking a little louder. The school district was also a victim of the poverty in New Orleans and the State of Louisiana. We had governors who were more concerned with the Saints.

  • One of the sworn duties since the conception of the federal government is to provide an education for the children of this country. It's not a situation where people are waiting on the government, the government has a fiduciary responsibility to educate children through our tax dollars. Thus, people need to be held accountable for where and what our tax dollars are supposed to be spent on. There are millions of illegals getting a good free education with our tax dollars so why can't our kids.

  • anybody know where i can buy this?

i know best buy won't have it

  • Katrina happened almost 2 years ago. People need to move forward and decide what their gonna do. New Orleans needs to get they structual foundation together. They need to fix that, before they can help the people. People need to stand up and start fixing themselves. God only knows it will never happen if you continue to wait on the government. There are some really corrupt people here in La. but I only can hope that the honest sleep with their eyes open to watch out for the little man.
