I think it is a universal habit from guys that ride british at night and on Lucas electrics because if you can't blip your bike dies from headlight draw. Nice digger that Matchless sounds perky.

that's a cool bike:) but I cannot imagine how people raced those things! compared to modern MX bikes it's got no ground clearence and no suspension, people had balls in the good 'ol days:)
