From our Rockstar Studio this is Tony T and now its time for NFL coverage with a lighter touch of Vegas. Its our Chick Pick Segment. We now welcome back to Gamblers Television with her Chick Pick Tricia Regan. Hello Tricia.
Tricia: Hi Tony and Hey everyone
Tony: Tricia what a season Kurt Warner is having. I love this guys guts. He is a throw back. A QB who fearlessly sits in the pocket unafraid of the pass rush and willing to take a vicious hit in order to make a big play. Is Warner so far the MVP of the league?
Tricia: Definitely, so far- its got to be Warner, hes having a hell of a year! But you can never count out Kerry Collins with his undefeated Titans team.
Tony: OK now its time for Tricias Chick Pick. Lets pick the big one on Sunday. Its a battle between two first place teams as the NY Giants travel to take on the Arizona Cardinals. The Giants are 3 point favorites. Tricia what happens here?
Tricia: Take the Giants to cover the minus 3 point spread. The New York team will return to the site of their Super Bowl win last year, on the road at the University of Phoenix Stadium. With Arizona giving up 210 passing yards a game, and with New York coming off their 5th straight win, this game will prove to be the start of another championship run for the Giants.
Tony: The Giants strength is their running attack. Arizona gives up 89 yards a game on the ground. Can the Giants run on this team to set up their passing attack?
Tricia: Yes! With the NFLs best rushing attack, the Giants were able to get 207 yards, last Sunday, against a Ravens run defense that came in yielding a league-low 65.4 yards per game.
Tony: Arizona is undefeated at home. The Giants have to travel cross-country here. Kurt Warner behind his outstanding receiving corps might put up points with their passing game? Cleveland passed for over 300 yards against the Giants back on October 13th.
Tricia: You know, Warner may be able to get a few points on the board, but I have a lot of faith in Eli Manning and this Giants offense to make some big plays of their own. And lets remember, it wasnt too long ago these Giants were playing in this exact stadium, with the Super Bowl on the line and Im PRETTY sure they came out victorious.
