people telling you to get a bigger tank are just jealous... it's better it housed in a 55 gallon, 100gallon or watever than in the 30 gallon tank housed with 10 other arowanas in the petstore!! Not everyone can afford a big tank or have room in their house to put a big tank. If they love the animal so much why don't they buy all those fishes in the petstore and release it in the wild during the dry season where it's gonna die anyway.

everyone stop being dramatic....the tank is big enough for now....when the get bigger im sure he'll get another tank

Nice Arowana and catfish. How much n often do you have to feed them? They seem quite flexible. Do u think they'll be fine in a 180 gallon for life?
-
"it is a great litel fish" and you said almost 30 inch. it is a litel fish for arowana

His tank has depth so it probably is a 120. Personally, I chose to house my black arowana in a longer shallower tank and the most important thing for these fish is to have the length for them to swim. My tank is almost 6 feet long but it's only a 100Gal. It's not very deep but unless I'm keeping the larger arowanas or stinrays, I don't need the depth. The great thing about Black arowanas is that they can curl their bodies up when they turn out, so a lot of depth is not required.
