I started out on a ninja 250, it was a good bike to learn on. The ninja 500 is good as well, as is other twin cylinder bikes. But it's up to you, if you have the self control. Stay safe and wear your gear.

Yeah I like the stock sound too, I thought it was pretty good for factory pipes.

@RCSV. Im the same bud i love the stock exhaust on my gsxR. I have a k6 with the exact same system on. I am never changing it to an aftermarket:)

stock pipes always sound best... that way you can hear the engine breathing n screaming...

I have mine without replacing the stock exhaust and have gone 65K kms to date. I like the sound at high speed at not to mention the power and speed it gives.
