"Three Stars"????
How about "No Stars" for JJ Abrams' ill concieved, plothole filled, badly filmed, sci-fi film which simply contained elements of Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek.
That's where the similarities end.

For true Origins of Kirk see the video Star Trek Origins: Kirk. Why? Because this movie was not an origin movie it was a prequel, sequel, reboot, screw up the characters to copy Twilight movie.

@Sysminsays Allot of bad movies make lots of money. Episodes 1-3 made a ton of cash, Abrams Mission Imposible III did well, and it was shit too. The Tranformers movies were garbage and thay made huge money. So making money doesn't make a movie good, it just makes the people who went stupid.

@fecxor: Trust me I know this to be true...Toy story and Twilight comes to mind, but they are for me. Doesn't make them bad movies because somebody (quite a few) got it. They did a good job with Trek and I look forward to the next one.

For long term startrek fans it was a bitching movie, for people who've never watched an episode of star trek in there life? It was a kickass movie!!
