@alphaacad The PNP is a socialist party, and the JLP is supposed to be conservatie. However, there is not much difference between the two of them in practice. I have great respect and admiration for Portia Simpson-Miller's predecessor, even though he is a socialist and I am not. Portia was terrible and so is Bruce.

Mr Golding is a terrible Prime Minister. However, he is not much worse than the previous administration. Simpson-Miller was appointed to the office of party leader and Prime Minister without the consent of the people, and when the election came she lost. P.J Patterson, on the other hand, was fantastic; he took advantage of globalisation and led Jamaica through a period of economic stability. He was good, unlike the corrupt opportunist that Jamaica has now. Personally, however, I support the NDM.
