@Violet7Stella At the risk of being slightly vulgar, the black snake moan was the same as 'blue balls'. Given the fact that Black people don't ever turn 'blue' the same situation had to get a different name. Blind Lemon Jefferson sang the original 'Black Snake Moan', back in 1926.
