Our children's choir did this in like 1978....I remember "Whir Whir Chicka Chickabom bom Pzzzzt" and the "I borrowed a watch from my brother" song. There was something that involved a Hawaiian gesture too....

I had this album, book, and Nathaniel the Grublet, and Cranston Thorndike and the Dragon.
Me and my best friend would always sing the songs and when I grew up and became a preschool teacher I used the "Patience" song with my students and they LOVED it.

A teacher I know used to sing "Be Patient" with her music class to teach the kids values - I shudder to think how much that would be frowned upon in state education today!

Aw, this brings back such wonderful memories. Here I am, 22, and still loving this <3

I'd never seen the video of this, I had the vinyl album and used to just love it! But I seem to recall a different song, the 'whir whir chickabonk' song being the main theme.
