  • I also wanted to do a big request: Please can someone put subtitles on this video? I am italian and I can understand english a bit, but here maybe because there is low volume I can't understand nothing :(

So I don't ask you to put italian subtitles (it would be a miracle! Ahah), english would be okay... Please do it, I would be so happy... Thank you. Let me know if someone can do it...

  • @AnoukRocher92 I'm so sorry, we are a very small organization and do not have the ability to put subtitles on our work at this time.

  • Grover Dale was in the original cast of 'West Side Story', n'est-ce-pas?

  • @AnoukRocher92 Honey...we all die...Betty Carr was captured on film young, beautiful, vibrant, and full of talent...thats the way future generations will see her as well as all the cast of this great movie...thats more than you can say for most of us (smile)...enjoy life as much as you can...its short for all of us.

  • Virgina Gibson is my great aunt - glad to say she is still doing really well.. it's wonderful to see all the love - i'll be sure to show her! thanks guys!!!

  • I am a 17 years old italian girl(sorry for my bad english!)and I really LOVE Jane Powell and her movies, expecially "7 Brides For 7 Brothers".I saw on this page that Betty Carr died on 2008,I didn't know...It's very hard for me to accept it, I am a big fan of old movies...And sometime I feel sad thinking that I was born all this years later!I always though that I was born in the wrong years! So if someone,of my age or not, want to talk with me about these things,I would be very glad.

  • This was so great to see to Virginia Gibson after all these years. I grew up across the street from Virginia's family on 23rd and St. Louis Ave. When she would come home from New York I can remember her coming across the street and taking this starry eyed little girl shopping. It is so good to see you Virigina. Judy (23rd and St. Louis Ave)

  • And so too is Norma

  • I used to watch Discovery with Virginia Gibson as a kid. One of my favorite shows ever. Love the movie Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, too. Jane Powell is a classy lady and so is Virginia.

  • I have been a Virginia Gibson fan for a very long time, I watched her on Discovery as a teenager...but I was a fan long before that. I am 55 years old now, but I can remember the time that I saw her in person in Macy's on 34th street. You never saw anyone so excited as I was! I am still a big fan and wish that all her films would be available on TCM. I am still waiting for someone to find a print of Painting the Clouds with Sunshine. It's great to know that she seems well.
