I seriously don't see why people are saying hippies were a problem. So what if they smoked pot? 300,000 people all from different places coming together for three days of music. And yeah, they were probably all stoned, but no one fought, no one was angry with anyone. It was peaceful. I dare you to put 300,000 drunks at a concert for three hours and you wont be able to stop the fights. So hate on the hippies all you want but they sure as hell made a point. If not about the war, about peace.

If the rest of the Occupy movement acts and talks like you then you have already lost the battle. Be smarter, choose your words correctly and dont argue with someone who is clearly more intelligent than you. Have fun with your protesting. Just do the world a favor and be more prepared.

So do your research before you open your mouth. By speaking with no regard as to what you say, you are hurting your "Occupy" movement in the public eye. If you want to stand up to the government you'll have to be smarter in the way you talk to people.

Back then they didnt have the awareness that we do now. Being a hippie now a days is much different. And as for Occupy movements, they will never work. Protesting can be the right thing to do sometimes. But these days protests do nothing. If you want to effect change be ready to bleed for your change.

Hippies used the war in nam to promote their stupid ass ideology of free love and peace which means smoking pot or using other drugs, listening music everyday without care at all. If they wanted to do change the world they would do something about it help the people in 3rd world countries or something but they didnt.
