For VoVaKiss

Rendered at 30fps, RAW video, no blur -- was only just slower than realtime. Converted using default FFMPEG settings resulting in a 12 MB file. Total time, about 3 minutes?

Of course it would have taken a lot longer if I have compressed the original output, either at the default 90 JPEG quality, or even longer at 100.

The challenge I face is working with either of these rendered outputs in Cinelerra. With uncompressed output, Cinelerra doesn't load the video track. Compressed output works fine in Cinelerra but I am concerned about the quality.

Cinelerra doesn't seem to load TGA files. And JPG output is a PITA and makes me wonder what the difference between that and straight up MJPEG video is.

@VoVaKissCam ye i just kept the bitrate in this one to a minimum to see how fast i could capture, convert and upload. utube caps at 30fps, that is true... but working in 60 i see a massive difference so if i distribute any other way i'll want to have a master in that format :/

yes i do all this with linux and wolfcam. i use r_useFbo to get 1080 resolution, even tho my monitor doesn't go that high.

You do this all threw linux? I use a separate PC with an hd capture card....seems to have limit on resolution 1280x720...any higher i get blurring and ghosting. I dont use wolfcam or linux to render vids. Maybe I'll try. You should work with 30 fps, try to optimize as much as possible at that frame rate....I am pretty sure youtube just trashes the rest anyway. Get you bit rates higher, i'll look at Cinlerra..see whats up.
