this song was meant for liam because he has that rough harshness to his voice brought on by some tragic event but on the acoustic version it is all about noel cuz he makes it sound so much cleaner and suts it betterfor this verson

@ab10tx i agree that liam's voice does seem to suit some oasis songs better than noel's would...but i think they could've gone either way for Live Forever based on this version :)

as much as i love noel singing here , i think some oasis songs were best suited with liam's voice like lyla ,slide away or live forever.
