Road trip over the bridge to my sister's house in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan, in St. Ignace, MI. View of some thunderstorms that are over Lake Huron, Mackinac Island, and Lake Michigan. Decided to throw in some Sarah McLachlan "The Rainbow Connection". There's even a plug for Yankee Candle car jars if you pay attention. Featured actress is my dog Chelsea.

  • Sorry, I always get confused with Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island, and the Mackinac Bridge:) Why couldn't they have just been spelled the same, so as not to confuse us!

  • Noooo, it's PURE MICHIGAN:)

  • Yes it is, sang by Sarah McLachlan. I loved the Muppet movies too when I was little. You couldn't have asked for prettier clouds that day and there were a few rainbows too.

  • Man, towards the end of the video, you can see the amazing green horizon of nature. The Upper Peninsula of Michigan truly is beautiful. It smells like nature. You can feel the essence of the deer, elk, fox, and even wolves. The magic of the forests and water makes you feel happy inside when you go to the U.P.
