From the VCD and now DVD, "Dada For The 21st Century" by Charles Goff III and Taped Rugs Productions. This piece incorporates Duchamp sculptures and audio ideas into a black and white high contrast tribute.
Aesthetic-indifference was Duchamp's attempt to depict what he referred to as the 4th dimension. When watching Ed Wood's Plan 9 From Outer Space one can't help feel an otherworldliness about it. Ed Wood had his own agenda. Both dressed in women's clothing. And both would end up making peep shows; Duchamp with his Etant Donnés, and Wood with his hardcore film loops made for arcade moviemachines. For both Duchamp and Wood, the viewer's eyes would be pressed against a far-away world.
