We need those moments brought back.. I don't think people realize what's been lost, taken away even. Its sad.

can you even imagine a show like this, now, with 2 new singer-songwriters performing almost flawlessly, song after timeless song? shame, i can't.

@royrhodes Look up the Time Life Singer/Songwriter Collection :)

I like his company, he just feels present while singing, all fits, his voice, the tune, the rhythm, that little joke or whatever that gets everyone laughing, and then the essence of the song, that simply makes you wonder...

How good is this!! 2 ace performances.
J.T. in his prime. Forget his new soft soul stuff ..this is James at his best. One guitar,..one voice...and another of his best compositions. Neil Young, too..(This is the Golden Era for the acoustic guitar playin' songwriters). Are these performances available on DVD ?.They certainly should be !! Todays singer/songwriters Watch / Listen / Learn,..( this is how its done ).

I've tried to get enthused about the newer crop of 'singer-songwriters', but these guys set the bar so high that Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews and the like just aren't going to come close. Fortunately for them, though, there are plenty of young listeners who are still clueless about the towering heights scaled by their predecessors ..... Musical mediocrity can be well rewarded in this day and age.
