  • Great...just great. What type of ride does Jon play? I have been trying to get that click ride sound for years!

  • The clicky stick sound can be the result of mic'ing and playing style(grip/angle). Sticks might matter as well - according to a MD article from the 90s, he uses 5Bs of some kind.

    The ride cymbal in this clip seems to be a riveted Avedis on the light side, although JC is known for using a heavy old K.
