Just imagine the overwhelming distress people would feel if they found out that humans couldn't pass through the Van Allen Belt. That would be a perfect reason to create such a hoax. I don't know, but that would make sense.

@toffeetigerkimba The ongoing Lunar Laser Ranging Experiment measures the distance between the Earth and the Moon using laser ranging. Lasers on Earth are aimed at retroreflectors planted on the moon during the Apollo program, and the time for the reflected light to return is determined. The distance to the Moon is calculated approximately using this equation:
Distance = (Speed of light × Time taken for light to reflect) / 2. look up on wikipedia, don't forget your tinfoil hat

the orbital rotation of the moon is equal...the result is that the same side of the moon we see is always the same side of the moon we see...no matter where you are on the planet or the position of the moon..the sea of tranquility is in the middle down and to the left..just a little...so if your standing in the sea of tranquility the earth is and always will be above your head...to get the shot of the earth rise in the moons horizon you must be comming from the dark side....good luck with this

every time i look up on a clear night i can see HUNDREDS of stars, but for some reason i can't find one star on any of these so called moon landing videos.. shouldn't it be easier to see them outside our orbit?? js

I'm not saying it didn't happen, but the fact there is no colour footage of the actual landing is a little bit odd !
