This is fan-made, but uses original music composed by James Horner for The Rocketeer. It was a project for a television production class. The Rocketeer tells the story of pilot Cliff Secord who, along with his friend Peevee, uncover a secret jetpack designed by Howard Hughes in 1938. Unbeknownst to them, a Nazi spy is working to steal the rocket in an effort to provide Germany with the ultimate soldier. As Secord dons the rocket to save a fellow pilot, the papers quickly label him "rocketeer" and he becomes, in essence, a super hero.

  • that works ...in real, 20 seconds i think

  • get ready for captain america

  • @skydragon4ever XD because it runs out of alcohol so if the boot are at the side of the flame nothing happens, but if they are right at the end of the flame =)

  • Boba Fett's favorite movie.

We only know it had a lot of thrust. We don't know that it had a lot of heat. Some chemical flames are near invisible and burn hot, others are very bright but burn cool. The science is not described enough to be critical of that. We "know" it uses alcohol, but obviously it's implied to be advanced science and we don't know "what else" it burns.

Besides, a careful eye reveals a pretty decent gap between his feet and the thrusters. Pause at 0:40 and you can see.

  • This just seems really gay to me

Yeah , that would'a been really cool in the right hands. But I'll always love what we got too. What a terriffic classic movie.

  • I whould've given a leg to see this franchise turn into a long running comic series and or animated movies if not a sequal to inspire those.
