Actually,the eMachines $198 laptop is exactly like the Compaq that's presently out for $348.
A great deal on Black Friday @ Wal*Mart is that they'll have the StraightTalk phone (which usually sells for $40) with the $45 card for service together as a package-deal for $45. That means that you're only paying for the card for service and getting the $40 Samsung phone for FREE.
Wow....you're so lucky to have all those stores in your town. All we have is Wal*Mart.

I got a ton of great deals online on Black Friday and then went to 7 different stores to get DVDs, shoes, work pants, toys, and a whole bunch of other stuff. I would say if you wanted something big (like a laptop/ tv/ blue ray player/ digital camera) the best idea was to go online and buy them rather than fight the crowds.
Fave deal: Smallville Seasons for $9.99 at Best Buy (normally $42.99).
P.S. you needed to get to walmart by like 3am to get tickets for stuff.
