She's FAR from her idol Lea Salonga's caliber, but she did okay here. I applaud her for her effort in singing this well!

Thanks for sharing! I wish someone had coached her for this song. She's OK, but her attack is tentative, her breathing incorrect, she sustains the wrong words ("known" is overdone while the others are cut abruptly), her lisp is distracting (those "sss" are glaring!), and her voice roughens up and gets annoyingly nasal as she gets louder and the notes go higher. This doesn't measure up to her own, other performances that are better, and especially can't be compared to Lea Salonga's. At all.

i prefer lea micheles, while lea salonga also did a great job with the charactr and had a great voice, it doesnt give me the shivers down my spine that lea micheles does and i imagine that lea m could do a great job with the character too as she is also a brilliant actress

she has a great voice. great version of on my own. both lea's are great and wouldn't be able to choose. loved how she sang this song on Glee. i had known i had heard and/or seen her somewhere, wouldn't have imagined broadway.
