Great Strategy! My Grandmother told my Mother and then she told me this WAY of encouraging children. And now that I have my own...wow!
I will say 'Would you like to brush your teeth and then get your pyjamas on OR brush your teeth after your pyjamas are on?
With harder questions. 'Before you play on the computer would you rather feed the cat, write a thankyou to Grandma or vacume the hall? Choose one for now and other two we can manage afterwards, as you like!

I worked in Human Resources for a Chemical Company for many years. It was interesting to see how the regular working employees only received a 2% increase in salary yet MANAGEMENT received 6% or more. Since I knew so much and the "riff/raff" of how the company couldn't afford this or that, I had to tape my mouth shut as I use to get so annoyed at the BS.
