The only way to implement the Islamic hudud law is by implementing it "by force", Malaysian National Defence University lecturer Ridhuan Tee Abdullah said today.

"To implement Islamic law and to educate non-Muslims (on Islam) can only be done by force," the associate professor told a forum entitled 'Hudud: Its dilemma and implementation' organised by Malay-language daily Sinar Harian in Shah Alam today.

Qualifying his assertion, Ridhuan said this is because the "negative attitude" of non-Muslims towards Islamic law makes it unlikely that they will voluntarily accept its implementation.

  • Riduan Tee is right that he has to align to his faith first before his race. He is answering to Allah first before his fellow race.

  • hukum islam perlu di perjelaskan kepada masyarakat

  • hidup hudud!sebat mat sabu 80x sbb tuduh anwar aljuburi meliwat tanpa 4 saksi mase anwar tpm dulu.takbir!

  • check thisup " Oley!! Filem pendek Hukum Hudud "

  • Mana boleh use "force" ma! Some of us muslims disagree..if you people still force then, we choose not to be muslim anymore, can ?In hudud, if we opt to leave Islam we have to be killed! So barbaric!

  • the discussion should focus on its implementation. first is to explain the scope of law - who will be affected by it? will it be implemented to muslim only or also to non-muslim? that must be made clear

the discussion went too long, but not necessarily need to touch on race issue even tho just been used as example by Ridhuan Tee - as Islam is universal and does not belong to malay, chinese. if we began talking about race, we will be back to square one like now. first priority - islam

  • @atsaari ko tau tak beza kafir zimmi dgn kafir harbi? kalau dh tau paham2 la apa yg ko ckp tu terang lagi jelas slh.. dia tak anti cina tp dia anti kafir harbi, kafir harbi ni perlu ditentang

  • @yohanesmalaysia You're behaving like a cocksure Jews ! so ignorant about the definition between 'right and freedom of religion" and "interfering other religions" You're interfering others faith do you know or not? unless the hudud or Islamic law being imposed to non Muslim, you got every right to reject and protest because are intruding "others freedom of religions" and that will not happen!

Whether the Goverment impose the law or not its another matter but hudud are compulsory to Muslims.

  • @Pitung56 Are you forgotten that you were talking about "right and freedom of religion" with viknesh248? Yes, you have the rights to tell others to obey hudud, BUT you do NOT have rights to force it on others if they not agree. You have the rights to propagate any doctrines and practice of your belief to other, BUT you do NOT have the rights to use the power of the state to enforce on others. If the Government wish to impose a law, they have to be approve by the Parliament elected by us.

  • @yohanesmalaysia I'm not talking about right or freedon of religion. But Hudud is a compulsory to Muslims within it's jurisdictions! What right do you got to tell me not to tell others to obey hudud? This is not an individual matters you had suggested but a Religious Law commanded by God. If you're ignorance about Islam, dont interfere as we dont interfere yours and you're exactly what the Prof said super kiasu. If the Government to impose a law, they dont need your permission of do's and dont's.
