Harry Nicolaides is a friend of ours. He wrote a book Verisimilitude in 2005 and in Sept. 2008 he was arrested for Les Majeste for a paragraph that he wrote in the book QUOTING a rumor. On Monday Jan. 19, 2009 Harry was sentenced to three years in prison. We are asking that the Thai Royalty, that the Thai Government release Harry and overturn this draconian law which prevents freedom of speech in Thailand. We ask the Australian government to do more than they are doing, basically they need to get off their ass and take better care to their own people. And we are asking you to appeal to the Thai government to uphold freedom of speech and release Harry. Rumors abound in Thailand like anywhere, and one should not be put in prison for quoting them, when many very serious offenders walk free. Set Harry FREE!
