It is PROVEN as a FACT by statistics, that in my country,(Norway) social democracy has LESSENED CRIME, and made people generally happier. Taxes are slavery, yes, if your country uses the taxes to fuel a NEVERENDING WAR MACHINE. But if your gov, would actually use the 800 billion dollars worth of military spending on people who actually needed it, your crime rates would drop a mile. People would not, i repeat, NOT commit crimes, if they lived a good life. The gov has that responsibility.

It is still wrong to force people to pay into a system through coercion whether or not it's paying for unconstitutional and unnecessary wars. Legitimate government seeks consent before assuming authority over citizens, enforced taxation is not consensual. The only legitimate form of taxation is Voluntary taxation.

@Mike44PL Socialism doesn't lead to anything. Socialism and communism are to be the end results of a capitalist democracy. Because capitalism will generate inequality, and the vast majority is poor while there is yet a surplus they will push for socialist policies. They will get it because our constitution cannot stop it, if the people will it, it will be done. This isn't bad, Moore's Utopia was most definitely communist, and what is so bad about the workers controlling the resources.
