  • I found this totally on accident and watched it to its end. Absolutely fascinating, thank you Mr. Robinson and Mr. Hanson for doing this film. I learned a great amount, and had some things reinforced, that I'd surmised on my own. I hope that I'm able to watch an other interview or film with Mr. Hanson in it. If I were in a school close, I'd want to have a class with Mr. Hanson. I'm a 47 yr old male, turned down for military service, but would've, if I could've. Do another extending this!

  • Superb! Thank you.

  • @ChrisnStarry Fun, isn't it?

  • @pretorious700 Have you ever actually *read* any of Hanson's stuff?

  • WARMONGER UNIVERSITY!

  • @pretorious700 Excuse me!? Have you read *any* of VDH's work?

  • This guy is a statist apologist.

  • @Wien1938 this is because the german army had learned the lessons from the great war and decentralized command structure for allowing individual soldiers take iniative and low level commanders refure orders and take different paths if the situation called for it, while the Allied soldiers were tied to their generals and needed approval for almost all engagements.

This individualism in the army was not applied to the political/industrial command and this is where germany failed

  • I don't buy the "individualism" theme. The German army was far more innovative and responsive than the US Army at the time. This is testified by the vast body of modern military historians.

  • @onjimusha i bet you spend twice that much time on facebook every day

  • @TitanHB How do you propose that the cowards whose instinct is "flight" restrain the warmongers whose instinct is "fight."

  • @danielvincentkelley You're aware that the US Constitution itself authorizes Congress to raise an Army, right? The only restriction it places on an Army is that appropriations for it cannot exceed 2 years.

"The purpose of the US military is to get the US military killed,"-they're warriors, goes with the territory.

"Depleted Uranium bullets,"-nothing kills tanks like it. Awesome stuff.

"armorless humvees"-They were never designed for COIN.

    Your ignorance is astounding.
