Canter work and jumping training with my horse Finnegan. He's just 5 yrs old, and not done much jumping. Neither have I, as you can probably tell! I can see all my own faults, so no lectures on my style thanks!

LOL, don't worry, I haven't read the comments on this vid for ages!

    You're 100% forgiven ;)

This video is pretty old, and I laugh at it everytime I see it. Total mental block with jumping.

  • 0:46 - 0:47

    fail.

    XD

i dont understand, you said you were working with horses for longer than 16 years and yet you fell off a horse at 1 foot jump? oh well, just lost balance i guess, and you landed on your feet.

you said you didnt put this music up for the people, so you put it up for yourself on a popular web site where people put movies up for others to see?? not trying to start a fight, just saying...

  • Whats not to understand? I said working with horses did I not? Who said anything about jumping for more than 16 yrs?

Reread the info, and it will clearly state that I am not very good at jumping.

As for the music, each to their own surely? I hate alot of music that others use on their vids, but I don't go insulting it.

This video is put on here for hosting purposes, if it entertains people who stumble across it, then great. If it doesn't please you then don't watch it, simple!

  • LMAO!!!!

Ok Unrealjumping, I bow down to your obvious expertise on the subject!! You are what, 16?

I've been working with horses longer than you have been alive my dear.

This video was taken 2 yrs ago, on a young horse that I had brought on and eventually made a lot of money from! I must have done something right for gods sake. He is now a fabulous jumper :P

Turn the sound down if you don't like the music, I didn't post it for you.

  • he is goegeous. what breed is he?

  • His dad is an arab racehorse, his mum is a big fat hairy carthorse cob!

  • @barnxbrat ok, sorry for my rude comments. i wrote that rude comment over 7 months ago and i regret it. so sorry. is everyone happy? if i get more responses to that friggin comment then im gonna be ticked cause i just appologized for my immaturity. now how bout everyone calms down and drops it.

  • @hunterjumper9799 first of all, just because she "fell off a horse at 1 foot jump" doesnt mean she isnt a talented rider. any one can fall off a horse going over a jump at any height because horses don't take each jump PERFECTLY. if you paid enough attention to the video instead of thinking of an insult, you can see the horse arched its back, raising her out of the saddle and making her lose her hold. i bet you would've fallen too. think before you go running your mouth.

  • Right, if you watch the video carfuly instead of insulting her you wil see her position for walk, trot, and canter is fantastic perhaps she is better at flat work i am peronally better at flatwork.. so she may have not done but jumping because she preferes flatwork. When heading for the jump try and and slow your horse down as much as poss so you have a better seat for when you go up and come back down.. If you have too too 5-10 jumps in trot then gradually build up.. GREAT RIDING THOUGH! x
