i ask and urge you all to serach Lawrence Krauss AAI 2009 on youtube. His lecture basically explains how the universe comes from nothing, how scientists KNOW it comes from nothing, and it tell you just how insignificant we all are.

I can ask how did the universe come to be? And a physicist would tell you big bang, you ask how did that occur? He answers with a scientific theory, then you ask ... Ooo so you don't really know?
God creating the universe is just as valid as the big bang theory because we will never, ever know. And if there is a God then he can tell us how it did happen.

Atleast the scientists admit that its just a THEORY and not a fact. While you religious people state your beliefs as fact.

A scientific theory is essentially fact, it is a hypothesis that has been tested evaluated

The problem is that you cannot really evaluate theories. Ok you might test your theory 1000 times, but it still might fail the 1001 time. While on the other hand 1 single fail is proof that the theory is invalid. You can exclude theories, but even if you only focus on theories you couldn't exclude yet doesn't mean you can't exclude them in the future.

You obviously haven't taken a peek at my profile...
The bottom line is, the big bang was a one time event, a singularity. God creating the universe is a singularity as well, something we will never know and never will find out. By time the universe dies or contracts or what ever it does, us humans as a race would most likely become extinct. BUT if there is a God, and he is true, then that is our only way to really find out.
