  • Warren and Mac Neil had huge Baritone voices also. Interesting to listen to Corelli talk of Gigli.

  • I doubt Baum was that much smaller then MDM in the middle as JH says and on top his was big also. I heard MDM in house but not Baum but Hines says BAUM 1/10th the middle voice of MDM! that I doubt, if that was so you would not hear him anymore so then Bocelli and on stage standing next to him it would be harder to judge then in the audience. As far as nasal that could be, I never heard him on stage so I don't know. Baum could sing lyrically, more so then MDM who did have a better sound.

  • I worked with Jerome Hines and Corelli in NJ. Later I worked with Bergonzi. Franco and Jerry are both telling you the truth. These guys are telling the truth. This is exactly what they thought.

  • @soulten46 I hear you!! I am a spinto / lyric soprano, and my teacher passed away after 15 years of being with her. I have had such a hard time finding a competent teacher that will be able to fill the huge shoes my teacher left behind her... Still looking ... =o/

  • @Twilightsire YEAH exactly!!!

  • @soulten46 find the right voice teacher.............he or she is out there somewhere

  • Guelfi's voice is really incredible most powerful Baritone voice i've ever heard. Look him up here on You Tube.

  • Question... I am a tenor more on the spinto side. Why don't teachers know how to teach the tenor voice?

  • He's amazing. RIP.

  • @Twilightsire LMFAO
