HOW MUCH IS PLASTIC A PART OF YOUR LIFE? We asked lower school families to save all the plastic they used and discarded in one week and then to bring it into school for an art and science installation. We were amazed at the amount of plastic that was brought in - mostly from packaging. After displaying the entire "ocean of plastic" for a day, we made a permanent wall sized mural with a portion of the material as a reminder that we need to be mindful consumers and advocates of change.
