Kelly is better for me but I love them both.Though as an artist,I prefer Kelly.My personal opinion :).

ALL WHO DISLIKED THIS VIDEO IS CARRIE FANS, let's face it.. both are talented.. and has nice range and personality.. but kelly's voice is just way soulful and it demands attention.. stop being idiot repeating who had bigger range and who sold more.. Kelly got 3.2 octave range, carrie got 2.3.. kelly sold 23million albums and 36 million singles.. kelly belts 6 notes higher than carrie.. and an octave higher.. KELLY IS BETTER.. DEAL WITH IT! A FACT! not saying carrie sucks coz she is very talented

The people coming in here to say how Carrie did it better (or even those that say Kelly did it better) are missing the point! This isn't a competition. Kelly covered this song because she loves it, it is a compliment to Carrie. Most of you who run in here putting Kelly down are only saying Carrie did it better but offer no real critique of Kelly. Why can't they both be appreciated? It is an honor to have a star cover your song and Kelly did it beautifully.

I respect and love Kelly but I forget that when I see Kelly fans criticize Carrie! It's sad to think that the fans of two artists who genuinely respect each other establish an unhealthy competition between the artists just because of jealousy, insecurity, and hatred. Both artists had different interpretations of the song but you can never say Carrie sucks because all who are sane know what Carrie is capable of doing. Much love to Kelly! I hope Kelly fans are not much of a hater. It's unhealthy!
