This was filmed in Silvana abviously I have stated it alot, There isn't much to Silvana it is a small farm town off the beaten path, They have one siding and two bridges but I couldn't get to them today have to talk to some farmers for permission.

Question of the day: Who owns the first train? I have searhed and searched to no avail...

Answer from who told me (Comment is Missing?)... It is a GE EMD just doesn't have any badging.

  • It looked like a Electromotive Division Engine but I search EMD and didn't find anything but didn't think to add the "X" will check again in morn... Thanks

  • I read the comments first and expected to see a different train. I live (and farm) about 300 yards from where this was shot. The last couple of weeks there has been a particular train coming through that has a very strange horn. Much higher pitched than usual. I can try and keep track of when I hear it again to see if there is a schedule to it if your interested.

  • That would be nice not sure the next time I will be able to make it up there but I hope to hit some more up in that area. There isn't much from the northend on YouTube so I'm going to focus on it some more..

  • Nice!! That loco had a strange horn!

  • That engine just has me completely baffled, can't find any information about it, I search #778 found pictures of BNSF engine which wasn't that one, Conrail, UP, etc... I might be missing a link to find out the right information about this engine, toss it around and if you know of somebody that can help figure it out, that would be nice...
