@pearsnockie I have taken your advice and don't believe what I have just read. My ears are fine.

@MrAlfHartigan okay. you're wrong though. 100 percent. its not important though, anyway.

@pearsnockie You're right. It’s not that important. I was only posting what was on the sleeve notes, but it sounded like Otis to me too.
If you buy the CD you’ll also get a second take of the song, but not the one they used for the released version.
You’ll also get a very different version of “I’ve Got Dreams To Remember”. Probably with the words that Zelda, his wife, wrote in her poem to him, rather than Joe Rock’s lyrics. She didn't even know he'd recorded it till after he died.

@MrAlfHartigan yea, you're right. I heard all of those. the Dreams to Remember version is really raw and pure. Otis' vocal chops are in top condition. which CD is that? Remember Me? I think I've got all of Otis' records, at least heard all of his tracks. but hear and then something "new" appears on youtube, for example live videos of him I havent seen, yet. I hope there are some more studio records which they bring out some time, even if they aint as good as his classics..

@pearsnockie The CD I have it on is called "It's Not Just Sentimental The unheard Otis 22 tracks. The 'Missing' album. 14 never before released songs and 7 previously unissued out-takes". There are 12 pages of sleeve notes with some interesting information about the tracks and about Otis, by Rob Bowman 1991. Zelma, Steve Cropper, Phil Walden, Joe Rock, David Porter and Ron Capone all contributed.
It has a nice version of "Come To me" on it too.
